Resistance 3 protagonist is Joe Capelli

First thing i'm gonna do when I have control of him - Resurrect Hale, then shoot myself in the head.

Joe Capelli will play the protagonist in Insomniac Games' Resistance 3, which is set for a full reveal in the upcoming issue of Game Informer.

Capelli played a main supporting character in Resistance 2, but as previously rumoured he's stepping into the limelight for the third game in the shooter series, which is due for release exclusively on PS3 in 2011.

Tim Turi from Game Informer said of the magazine's ten page Resistance 3 feature: "A batch of stunning Resistance 3 screenshots recently hit the web, but those pretty pictures of Insomniac's upcoming PS3 shooter are a mere glimpse into the harrowing world that's awaiting new protagonist Joe Capelli."

It was very obvious. I mean go back and ply resistance 2 and you'll see that he was kinda being groomed to be the next main character, well it was a flip between him and the black guy but the former died.

I would actually like to fight Hale.
