I don't normally make a judgement call on pre-released stills since so much can change in post-production, but I'm with Nferno on this one. I was already somewhat skeptical at Hathaway's casting, but that costume? Seriously? May as well be Batgirl.

So are we in agreement that the ears are a clever use of those goggles she had on from the first leaked image? I think that the only stupid thing about this is that she has heals on. Otherwise it seems alright to me tbh.

And Hathaway was damn good in Love And Other Drugs, so I'm alright with her being in it.

I do, when it comes to precisely the things you mentioned......but, aside from his casting of Carrie-anne Moss in Memento, his casting of the female lead hasn't exactly thrilled me. Katie Holmes in Begins was tepid, as much as I do like Maggie Gyllenhaal she was wasted in Dark Knight and Ellen Page just didn't work for me in Inception.

Personal taste, of course, but Catwoman is arguably the strongest female role he's had to deal with. We shall see.
