It's nowhere near Super Mario Galaxy's level, but it's an enjoyable game in its own right. The characters are hilarious, graphics are great (it's like playing a Pixar movie) and there's tons of ingenious guns and smart level design.
My main reason why I chose the PS3 was because it has a built-in Blu-ray player and I read that it is free to play on the playstation network while with XBox you had to pay.
So I have picked up Uncharted 1 and 2 this weekend. Played a bit of Wipeout and it's really a beautiful game.
I have no idea where to start in making a dent in my games. So many ;-( Not enough time.
Thats the problem when you have a console and a PC. I have too many games and not nearly enough time. Uncharted is an awesome game. I finished both in one weekend. Also, you should try out Metal Gear Solid 4.
So how you enjoying Heavy Rain? You played it with the move controllers? If so, is it better than with a controller?
so proud...So I have picked up Uncharted 1 and 2 this weekend. Played a bit of Wipeout and it's really a beautiful game.
Unless you’re a fan of the series, stay away from this one. Also, you should try out Metal Gear Solid 4
as a present I give you a hidden gem
Well was at a friend's place playing Resistance co-op till after 12 last night. It's quite fun. Already used to dual analogues for FPSs, but wouldn't be able to use it competitively. Just too clunky.
Friend from work brought MOVE for me so will be able to start Heavy Rain sometime soon.
Why would you be playing any game competitively?
Picked up a second hand PS3 Move bundle, with Time Crisis: Razing Storm for under R300 over the weekend for my new console, giving it some much needed attention. Loving the socks off of that game, brings back memories of all the coin I spent at the arcades.
Now to get my hands on this Heavy Rain that you lot are going on about...
I'm actually excited -for- Chevron.
Experiencing the Uncharted series for the first time is one of those gaming moments you just never forget :D
Forgot to mention that yesterday I picked up a Samsung 40D550 to game on. It's glorious.
So I shouldn't mention how setting up my Z-5500 in surround sound helps me tell where enemies are in Uncharted making it even more glorious?
:P
Seriously though, got to the fixing the generator section and to say I've had a few heart pounding moments would be an understatement.
Just finished Uncharted and WOW! Was an experience. Wouldn't have been the same without big screen TV and surround sound. We are truly in the era off HD gaming.
