Cricket World Cup starts this Saturday, feel the heat!
Super stoked for the cricket tomorrow. Going to be watching the score on supersport.com but am very keen none the less.
My dad's main supplier (SAB) gave him 2 tickets for an all expenses payed trip to the World Cup in India.
Unfortunately, cricket is the only sport my mom actually enjoys. :(
Lucky bastards!
India scored a massive 370/4, with Sewhag scoring 175. Don't see Bangladesh getting close to that score.
Great match yesterday. Good start for India hitting that massive score of 370/4. Looks like this World Cup could get interesting
A horrible mis-match this morning, Kenya were bowled out for 69, and New Zealand chased it down in 8 overs, without losing a wicket. The whole match only last 31 overs. :(
Looks like Canada are playing better then expected or Sri Lanka are playing worse then what I thought they would.
Current score in that game has Sri Lanka at 147/2 at 28 overs.
I kind of expected that game to go the same way as India/Bangladesh or even more convincing.
I was very impressed by the Dutch team's performance yesterday. They batted well, fielded well and bowled somewhat decently. I was really rooting for them but they lost. So close yet so far
Kenya lost their game against Pakistan by a massive 205 runs. They started off bowling well limiting Pakistan to under 4.5 an over until Pakistan upped it to score an impressive 317 thanks to Umar Akamal.
Support your country! South Africa play their first match tomorrow, make us proud boys!
Really excited about our first game today...
The West Indies have not been at their best in the past few years, but we know on their day they can be up there with the best.
I am hoping to see a good use of spin from our boys today, maybe swap one of the seamers for a full time spinner (Imran Tahir?)? With all the talk thus far being about how important spin will be in the tournament, I think it would be great practice before we take on some of the other title contenders. (I just can't see who we could drop, maybe Morne?)
If we win the toss we should have a bat and see what we can achieve upfront on these slow pitches. We know Amla and AB love batting on the sub-continent.
Very suprised to see that Botha opened the bowling with Steyn. I wonder if that is going to happen again and again with the WC
Tahir is a monster! His bowling style actually reminds me of Shane Warne...
222 all out. Not a bad start and Tahir got 4/41! There is just no way we're not playing this guy again.
Everything looks good and set for the win for SA. just hope they follow through with the good bowling.
Looks like I made the right call, a seamer dropped for Tahir, though I would have played Lotsi instead of Morkel.
Tahir is looking scary good! His googly is pure evil!
