Wow that game was a good one. It gave Sri Lanka a lot more time in the middle and it is looking like the 3rd ODI will be a lot closer if they can build on their improving performance. Smith needs to be dropped down the order though. Something where he can come in around the 30th over so probably swap with Duminy or De Villiers. I think number one is too much pressure on him which is why he isn't getting out of his rut. Do that at least before dropping him.

Kallis and Amla out for the next three games. Expect Steyn to be rested for at least one. Should make for interesting teams.

    Goodbye Boxing Day!

This is actually a travesty. Isn't a Boxing Day test part of our tradition? And for T20? Pffft.

Sad to see a test go, but it's to be expected. Firstly, the Boxing Day test isn't a huge tradition in SA, we skipped it each time we played
Australia. Also, Durban has light issues at that time of year. The crowds have also been dissapointing for years now.

I dont even enjoy Cricket that much and I've been watching Boxing Day cricket since I was a kid - purely for the tradition. Oh well, I do agree crowds have been dwindling in the last few years.

I enjoy when Austrailia play in Aus, purely because you can watch SA play all day, have a break in the evening and then watch Aus in the early hours :) Never can have to much cricket!
