Not too bothered that it's a duplicate thread since (a) the previous thread is 5 months old, and (b), the two threads are in fact different. Where the old thread is about which series you think are awesome, this one is about what you're watching at the moment.

Pretty much the same difference between a thread titled "what music do you think is the best ever?", and one titled "what music are you listening to now?".

Though the two share qualities, they can easily be separate discussions. One of them, for example, can contain a person talking about something they don't like.

To put my own coin in the hat...

House and Futurama are the series that are currently running, that I keep up with. Both are currently in a lull, though... no new episodes for a whiiiiile.

If anime counts, I'm currently watching Juuni Kokki (The Twelve Kingdoms). Not very recent, but it's extremely highly rated, and so far I'm rather enjoying it.

I'm looking to start Durarara, and to finish Michiko to Hatchin while I'm at it.

Then there are the series that have currently finished their latest season, and I'm waiting for them to start up again:

Venture Bros (the most amazing season finale EVER)
    Ugly Americans
    The Walking Dead

There are a few series I'm slowly getting into. I've recently decided I rather like How I Met Your Mother, where previously there were (and still are, to a degree) aspects that bothered me. Also, Lie to Me seems quite nice as well.

I find with a lot of series... well... I find it hard to take the stuff seriously (even though I know that taking them seriously is not the point, most of the time). Doctor Who, Supernatural, and their ilk always just strike me as a tad... too silly, for my liking :P

Dexter Season 5 on the last episode, have a feeling it will be a 'doosey'... loving this season although I feel that Lithgo in the fourth will always be the best. That's not to say that Julia Stiles was rubbish either; I mean I think she is a stellar actress and brought a lot to this season.

How I met your Mother I still love even though I fear it might be getting a little thin.

Big Bang Theory: The Sheldon show. Jim Parson really has created a monster. I find that I don't have to watch every episode in this series though, which is rare for me.

Modern Family I am actually really pleasantly surprised at this show. I think I have at least had one good laugh per episode, which is a pretty good ratio in my books.

    Now to finish Dexter!

EDIT: Finished and it was great! The fourth trumps it for its cliff hanger, but it was a thoroughly enjoyable season none-the-less with some really tense moments :O

I thought this at first also, but then Jennifer Morrison came in and I do so adore her, so I loved it unequivocally, once more. :P

Anyway. To series then. And there's quite a bit this season.

Fringe - I do so love the direction that this season has taken, even if the shift is very clearly away from science and towards people and relationships and such. And even then the execution still manages to be fresh and intriguing.

House - Not much to say other than GET BACK ON AIR FOR THE LOVE OF VICODIN.

How I Met Your Mother - I love this series so much. The jokes can get lame at times but it never leaves me wanting in the comedic entertainment department. I laughed myself to tears a few weeks ago with that "beaver song" episode.

No Ordinary Family - No idea about this series. I watched one episode and wish to watch more now, and intend to, after hearing that it was "ripping off Heroes" and I loved Heroes so I figured I might give this series a watch, and the one episode seemed charming enough to try out more.

Smallville - I watched this series when I was a kid (not a reference to a goat, I promise you) and I figured I'd watched it for like nine seasons, I'd rather just watch another and hopefully be done with it. The phrase "well we've gotten this far" applies.

Supernatural - I loved the angels and demons arc, I loved the apocalypse arc, I loved Death's cameo, so of course I had to pick up again after that. And this season's actually going quite nicely.

**** My Dad Says - Shatner. My dad says.

The Big Bang Theory - Well, I don't think there are many on the interwebz0rs who don't watch this, these days. The jokes are corny at times and, in honesty it sort of seems like a show made for dumb people, with some of the comedic themes and such, but I still enjoy it somehow.

The Vampire Diaries - Bite me.

No Ordinary family is currently what I am watching. Started a bit slow but into it now. Good family entertainment even though sometimes it feels like there's something missing.

    Also watching Lie to Me.

Had no idea there was more Doctor Who out. Must look it up.

I do enjoy House, but there's just so much to wach.

Recently finished That 70's Show (which was absolutely brilliant by BTW, probably the best TV series ever) and started Malcolm in the Middle last week which is just as good.

And on TV it's just Modern Family (Funniest show in along time) and Cougar Town (It's terrible but I can't stop watching).

Can't wait for Hung/Californication to start again.

Big Bang Theory is my alltime favourite, as I see so much of myself and my relationships in every episode.
That 70's Show is also up there with the best of the best.
Finished watching E-Ring and was pleasantly surprised at how good it is.
I watched a lot of How I Met Your Mother and The IT Crowd, and also Scrubs!
A very good series I watched years ago, when HD just started, was John Doe.

The Walking Dead - enjoying this show immensely, though it can be a bit tiring to watch. It's the type of serious entertainment I enjoy, and the mature themes that are explored are a nice change from the usual garbage.

The Vampire Diaries - a show that has gotten better with time. For the first time in a while, I cannot wait for a new episode to hit. Ian Somerhalder however elevates this show to a new kind of awesome, and the mythology is slowly growing, though nothing as hectic as Lost's.

The Event - Am getting a bit bored of this now, it doesn't seem to be heading anywhere. Will pull through for a few more episodes to see if it improves, but that doesn't look likely. But oh my god Taylor Cole is incredibly hot! I remember watching her episode of Supernatural, thinking how hot she was, and only realizing afterwards they were the same person!

How I Met Your Mother - Season 5 was meh, but 6 has been a wonderful return to form. I too laughed like a headless chicken for the Beaver Song episode, especially the Jessica Glitters parts.

Am trying to get a hold of Supernatural season 3, was a bit late to the party :P

HIMYM has been a wave of ****, lately. I've never really found it funny, but it was addictive, nonetheless. It's a pity it makes me rage at myself for sitting through an episode, now.

Season 5 was average, but the season finale was great. Those things you laughed at in season 6, made me cringe. :P

IT Crowd is the same. It was beautiful, funny and awesome - like any other Graham Linehan series. The last season was crap. The first three episodes and episode 5 were unfunny, episode 4 and 6 barely saved the season. The Inbetweeners was MUCH better, and ended beautifully. I'd recommend that to anyone who enjoys teh funny.

For me, I've just finished going through my collection of Citizen Smith. Amazing stuff. 70's and 80's was just the best time for British Comedy \:D/

I see a lot of people are recommending Supernatural. My friend keeps insisting I rent it, but if so many others agree, I'll do so. Especially when season 5 comes out. She showed me a picture of the third brother - holy ****, I thought she learnt how to photoshop me into a screencap. :P

On that note, same goes for Kaley Cuoco as Penny from Big Bang Theory - drool

Scrubs is the best series ever made. No discussion necessary. It's just that awesome.

Just finished watching some classic Doctor Who episodes this week, as well as season 3 of the IT crowd. Next week I want to start watching Metalocalypse season 3 and try and find a way to get my hands on some other adult swim shows like the Venture Brothers and Archer.

lol, seriously? It's funny, but there's better out there. For instance:

Forgot to put Cougar Town on my list. Funniest show on television I think. All the characters have got great chemistry together, so just putting them together is bound to garner some laughs. Especially Andy.
