I love that remix of Where Is My Mind, it retains the mood of the original while still bringing something new to the table. Very chilled.

Iheard dubstep the first time when I stumbled into the comet cafe @ Rustlers in 1999, and got assaulted by this womwomwomwomwom, and the blessed hippie Colin was like "shoowee bru, that ****'ll cook your brain!" So I stalked the DJ and he explained to me what this noise was, and said I should get my training wheels by listening to Lee 'Scratch' Perry first.

I loved this scene because it was underground, but now I'm hearing it on 5fm, which makes me a little sad but hey, money.

I've been spamming Nero like cuh-razy lately, because they're just so damn good. Pure digital aural pornography.

This is amazing, just hold your face whilst listening, it might come off...

And this, because you need to know your roots. Respect!

Also goto Facebook and follow guys like Excision, Datsik, Boregore, Caspa & Rusko for sick mixes and free DL's. excision is not for the feint of heart, it's more darkstep or almost EBM, but check out his Shambala mixes free to download on his profile page.

This, because lol! (the track is midnight by bass monsters Bar9)

    Bump.

So I got new software and spent a couple of days tweaking and twisting at its bits - then this came out: What's this Long, Hard Thing?

Some of you may recognize that the samples are from the film, "Machete" by Robert Rodriguez.

    Enjoy.

EDIT: Not me, but this is quite good: Jujus Country

I believe that dubstep can transcend the infantile wubs and wobs of Skrillex and Co. Here's proof.

Indeed. Dubstep is a very broad and diverse genre of music in which, I think, everybody can find a niche.

And please check out the Glitch Mob, I know not all their stuff is Dubstep, but their sound is so amazing.

Has anyone seen the new Nero music video for Crush on you.

Can't post a link due to work blocking youtube...

But check it out. Demon witches with old school horror style shooting. Pretty awesome. Gotta love Nero.

It amazes me how many people think ChristWire is for real.

Also, another piece of excellent satire. Can't wait to get raped by lesbian terrorists at my next dubstep party.

And I just realised that my sister has the exact same hairstyle as Skrillex.

"Emosexuel". That is the funniest thing I've read all week. Bravo skelektron!

So, this thread hasn't received attention in a while, but I recently discovered that I've been listening to two pretty wicked songs, and I must admit, they are dubsteps. They are "Too Close" by Alex Clare and "Bangarang" by Skrillex, and both are AWESOME. I had Bangarang as my ringtone, but my GF objected and said "that's crap". Eh?

I love the fact that they aren't "hardcore" dubstep, but they have a little alteration in them. Good dubstep, if you will.

I don't want to come across as rude bro, but I agree that Bangarang is a crap song. Now just hold your horses for a sec! Don't get me wrong here, I freaking LOVE Skrillex and I'm a noob to Dubstep to boot, but I must say there is way better out there than compared to "Bangarang". Have you heard his song called; "F#cking Die"? Dude, it is absolutely epic!

And yeah, Drone pretty much knows exactly what he's talking about. Toxxyc, check out Nero and Excision if you like Skrillex. I also loved Skrillex until I broadened my Dubstep horizons and my eyes opened!
