Thread: The Movie Thread

Your spoiler tags failed hard. Either way, this is what happens after the first credits:

Eva Mendez the second movie comes into Gobbs' (Rock) office a while after the happenings in Rio. She holds a file with photograhpic evidence showing Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), who was assumed dead in a previous movie, somewhere in the world still rolling with truck hijackers. This will make for an epic twist in the next movie, I really can't wait!

What a movie, was quite late on the bandwagon too.

Now, read this: The Philosophy of Time Travel, and watch again. Then repair brain after mind**** and repeat.

I watched Alien Trespass and I quite liked it, didn't think I would but I did. Quirky, fun and well written. :)

Failed hard? What do you mean by that if you don't mind me asking.

I watched Invictus a couple nights ago. Very good movie and very thought provoking. For the first time it actually made me realise how the RWC of 1995 helped in bringing South Africa closer together with the racial divide that once was.
Laughed everytime Morgan Freeman said Springbuks instead of Springbok's.
Kudos to Matt Damon for doing the South African accent as well as he did.

Like the boks of last years tri-nations, Invictus fell apart in the final quarter.

Troll hunter was awesome! I didn't mind at all reading the subtitles, if anything it made it a bit eerie.

    Tintin!

For a couple of moments there I almost thought it was live action.

Just watched the trailer and it looks pretty sweet. Not sure if I'll go to a cinema and watch it though.

And now for something completely different:

    And some...

It's about Nazis who -in 1945- fled to the moon from their base in antarctica and are planning an invasion in 2018. And it's a comedy.

And just because we believe in equal opportunities, here is a movie for the ladies:

It's an Apatow film so you know it will be hilarious.

I recently watched Suckerpunch. It was reviewed pretty badly by critics but it blew my mind. Story was interesting and thought provoking, fight scenes were brilliant and the main actressess are half-naked for most of the movie.
Also finally watched Megamind. Brilliantly fun and has a surprisingly awesome soundtrack.
Looking forward to Captain America. Haven't seen any trailers but the poster looks kick-ass.

ARRRRRGGHHHH! The characters look ****ing horrible. Soooo creepy. As much as I loved the Tintin books, I'll be avoiding this.

Just saw the poster for Tintin. From a distance it looks like the Watchmen cover. Or at least the lettering does
