Prison Break 3

So yeah, I've seen the first 5 episodes of season 3 of Prison Break, and I must say, I was really skeptical about this show going on for yet another season, but it's somehow managed to keep me glued.

Granted, this season, so far, is nowhere near as awesome as the first season was (but that's just stating the obvious really) - but the writers have managed to keep pretty true to previous events.

I can't help but feel that it's somehow 'detached', and almost less involved, however. Almost as if the scope of the story has been very restricted - but I mean, what else could happen after a Nation-wide man-hunt headed by government officials, involving the president of the United States herself. Moving from that, the concept behind this season has almost "toned down". Of course this still remains to be seen, it's still a little bit too early to be completely certain of this.

All that being said, I really like it. LIKE it, not LOVE it. I doubt it will ever be as great as the first, or even second season, but it's got me entertained. And as usual, the twists and the suspense are rife throughout the first episodes. I'm sure there will be many who disagree with me though, and think it's a pile of ****.

But they're the people who've been thinking that since the beginning :P

Anywho, anyone else following this season? seen it? has an opinion of it?

I'm glad to hear you say that Q. :P I was fearing the worst for season 3. Looking forward to the new season now. The Scofield brothers are very entertaining.

How exactly did you watch these shows before they air on tv? :D

Yeah, new season hilites the shows shortcomings, and shows how its hard to keep a good programme good.

Season 2 was a big dissapointment. Had its moments, but the first season was impossible to top, and they didn't even try. I hope you're right with season 3. If Lost could come back after a dissapointing 2nd season, then maybe PB can too.
