Apparently my mate was telling me that you can get uncapped data from Mweb for likeR260R219 then pay line rental and you are sorted.
[EDIT]
That is if you want to be limited to 384kbps

Because it's not actually what they're paying me pocket money for, in their exact words. :P If I want to get uncapped I'll have to do it sneaky so they don't find out, or get a job to pay for it myself entirely, and the latter isn't really a viable option, as I'm going to be studying at two institutions in the second semester, so I won't be able to even hold down a part-time job. My parents are really anal about the little details, but I guess I can't complain too much.
Today is Dead Space Day. 75% and 40% off DS 1 and 2 respectively.
So the last day of the EA week is revealed: Battlefield Bad Company 2 + Vietnam & Medal of Honor.
If you haven't played BBC2 yet and can't wait to play BF3 then this should keep you busy, and at a sweet low price it's worth it.
I'm on the fence about BC2. I've heard good things about it, but after growing sick of military shooters I'm not sure if I'll give it the time...
Hmmm, will decide in the morning.
Today could be a bad day for people's wallets. Lots of awesome games on special.
Commandos, disciples and Tropico all on special as well as other Kalypso games. Think I might just get the complete pack. Sigh. Not enough time.

Tropico 3 for under $5? Yes please. I already own it, but would prefer to have it as an official Steam game. Thanks for the heads-up Chev.
I just saw a copy of Dirt2 in my games list now and knowing I didn't purchase I did some investigating. If you pre-order Dirt3 you get a free giftable copy of Dirt2:

Just bought myself commandos 3 and Dawn of Magic 2. Have no idea what the altter is about, but looks quite cool. Also, how's Disciples 3? That also looks interesting.
Bought the Kalypso pack and the one DLC for Patrician (My kind of game, even though I haven't played it).
Holding off from buying HOI III pack, as it is still too expensive. Seeing as how it's a paradox campaign game though, I have no doubts that it's absolutely smashing.
Alright, that's it. I'm done with Steam specials. I can't keep up with all the games I've been buying, and I can't afford all the cap that's forced me to buy in the meantime. Okay, okay, yeah, I'll probably jump to buy something the next time I see a Steam special, but I'm really going to have to negotiate something to get an uncapped account. My topups have cost me more than an uncapped account would have cost me by now.
AFAIK... get yourself a prepaid webafrica account and use their steam server. The server is in the "freezone" which means the data you dowanload does not get counted towards your cap. Unfortunatly you will have to use a little app called SteamWatch to force Steam to connect to the Webafrica Server otherwise you might/could and usually do start to pull international data.
Just an idea... use it/don't use it.
Hmm, I'll check their prepaid offering. Never heard of it before, but it sounds good. I'm also looking to see if I can't find an uncapped solution for which I'm only subscribed month to month, and can decide whether I want it each month, but I'm guessing that's not really a viable option yet. You really can't use Steam on a capped account.
Bought Serious Sam Gold. :D
I see that You Don't Know Jack is on special for $10. Has anybody tried it out? Are the questions general enough for non US/UK residents to get them?
