It'll be just another way that people gamble. Buy a cheap item before a patch and hope it gets stronger after the patch. Profit. If not, unlucky!

Still a bad game in my opinion.
Fortunately I wasn't expecting it to be good, so whatever.
How can Blizzard charge you money for a particular item, but still claim ownership of said item? I understand this is just a game, but once you use real money, surely real life rules apply? If I bought a car, the manufacturers couldn't come and take the tires off the car a few days later. Or buy a 1tb HDD and a few days later they come and switch the insides to a 500mb HDD. The same should apply, if you buy an item from the AH, they shouldn't be able to edit its properties. Even with an EULA, how can that be allowed? Isn't that classed as some kind of theft or forgery?
Still a useless post in my opinion.

No, Mongoose. Your post is useless. At least she was giving her opinion on the game. You were just making a useless counter-post to hers simply because you don't like her opinion.
And I actually kinda agree with her. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's a bad game, but for a Blizzard game, it doesn't make the cut.
I guess that's a good way to get around it. Blizzard are too smart for their own good. Its still very douchbaggery of them to pull this stunt though, even though their EULA explains it all. They know what they are doing, even though its legal, its still shallow.
So basically you are essentially "renting" the item?
Isn't this what you are doing to me? :P (Don't bash me on this piece, its a joke, chillax <3)
She already stated her opinion in the thread here. She discussed her opinion on the game at full length over 2-3 pages. Am I the only one who sees posting "Still a bad game in my opinion" 3 pages later to be completely and utterly useless to the thread? I am not bashing her, just pointing out how her statement, which she as already mentioned and discussed, adds nothing to the discussion at hand (the Auction House).

No, have to agree with Mongoose here. She didn't really ad anything to the discussion at all. Why make the post then?
But on topic: I still don't really care much, I'm just kinda meh about the fact that I probably wasted loads of gold and gems creating super gems that cost nothing to make now. I'm glad that they changed it, just not glad that I could have had so much more of both if this was implemented sooner.
Edit: Ninja'd by Mongoose. Darn it.
And Mongoose's counter-post in reply to her 'useless' post adds what, exactly, to the thread? Why make a useless post that adds nothing to the thread in reply to a post you perceive as being useless and adding nothing to the thread?
I'll say this for KimmyKae, I might not always agree with or even like many of her opinions, but at least hers is genuine.
My post did add something to the thread, the part about her was only a fraction of my post? Take your own advice, you have now made 2 useless posts in reply to a post you perceive as useless.
BTW, my nickname is misspelt, it doesn't have an "e" in it ^_^ Just sayin...
Can we call a truce and give hugs and flowers now?
At the moment, having finished inferno i am hoping future expansions will bring a bit more to the game, in terms of much more interesting items, because at the moment they are.. whats the word.. boring, i know they are fixing the legendries in a future patch, but essentially they are basically all the same items with a few different stats.
Which makes it even worse, because you were contributing to the thread, then made a totally worthless post in reply to KimmyKae simply because you couldn't stand the idea of her post saying Diablo 3 sucks going unchallenged.
Anyway, to the point I've been trying to make; stop playing the forum police. If you feel a post is worthless and contributes nothing, either ignore it or just let it go by or report it. Don't make snarky, sarcastic comments that are inevitably just going to cause a fight. Because that's what your post was doing.
As much as I'd absolutely love to spend the next few hours arguing about Diablo 3 again, I'm simply going to point out the obvious: the "offending" post in question was made post-patch, whereas the previous post/s were made pre-patch.
Blizzard made a lot of promises about fixing things they agreed weren't up to snuff, and... haven't really improved on anything (once again, in my opinion).
I'm sorry my internet posting isn't up to your exacting standards.
You are aware that this is not the first time Mongoos is doing this, right? He almost had a heart-attack from excitement pointing out the 'baddies' who download TV series in the GoT thread.
His sarcastic reply to KimmyKae's post was nothing more than an attempt to incite conflict.
Either way, moving on; Diablo 3 is a subpar Blizzard game, and it's scary how many of my issues with it all comes back to the Auction House and perma-internet requirement.
I haven't played it in more than a week, and frankly, I don't have any desire to play it either.
And its not the first time you have policed me, you did the same in that thread, pretty hypocritical wouldn't you say? You are preaching all this stuff, but you are just doing the exact same thing to me. Instead of taking your own advice and leaving my posts alone, you find a need to confront me just as I find a need to confront Kimmy, you are just as bad as me.
We are two bad peas in the pod that is the NAG forums ;)
A little on/off topic. A group which I will not name seems to have bypassed Diablo 3's DRM. Took them a month, surprisingly long. I wonder what Blizzard is going to take from all this.
A) We sold like a bazzilion copies, people love this game and its DRM, lets DRM the shiz nizz out of our games in the future!
or
B) We sold over 7 million copies, but got nothing bad a bad response to our DRM, lets leave it out in all future titles.
Would be interesting to hear from blizzard officially about the reception they got.

Yes, but the difference is, if you don't confront anyone about petty ****, I don't confront you about petty ****. You stop, and then I automatically stop. Pretty simple. :)
Also, end off topic now.
Also, Blizzard won't remove the DRM, because it's not necessary for them to do so, from a marketing point of view. Regardless of the DRM in use, Blizzard games sell. If they have to release a game again, everyone is going to rush to buy it, because it's Blizzard. Even if all their future titles suffer from the same server issues as Diablo 3, they're going to end up raking in the cash.

Fine, ill stop... ruin my fun.
So does that mean we can be friends now?
Who said we're not friends? D:
Also, a question. I haven't really been following Diablo 3's news lately, but is there anything on the release of the PvP patch yet?
