Rest of post moved here.
And I don't see WoW ever heading to console. It'd be too hard to translate over, since the fundamentals would have to change (voice instead of text and you'd have to limit the amount of spells per character, since there are way more than a controller can accommodate for).

Not if Blizzard were to design an WOW specific controller for Xbox. Then Bobby can make even more money if it were sold seperately..
Lol at Nferno going way off topic and all aggro when he basically threatened to infraction people for it yesterday.
Back on topic, though, I thought Diablo 3 was planned for the consoles right from the start?
All WoW-Related posts are now gone!
Now we can continue to discuss Diablo III again, so stay a while and listen.

Orite.
Infractions from here onward. Topic.'Gamers are the worst kind of people' not 'Mikey is the worst type of person'.
Topic, stick to it. Go!While that's entirely true, I wasn't doing it in that thread. I was merely pointing out to Kharrak that Mikey wasn't expressing his opinion half as much as he was merely trolling. Then I made a tongue-in-cheek post about the discussing a gamer's behaviour thing, because I was in an exceptionally playful mood, which you seemed to take way too seriously. I was about to point this out to you, but decided to rather just leave a visitor comment for you, seeing as you were flexing your moderator muscles like a crazed mofo in the thread.I like the way you pulled that out of context, since what I said yesterday was specifically aimed at you, because you feel the need to chime in once Onona digs into someone.
Orly? Of course you were. It's not like you have a history of going all bananas whenever somebody says something negative about WoW or something. :PBut yeah, I was going to splice this into another thread about MMO stigma before I read your post :P
Edit: Aw balls. Lttp again. :(

I just edited my post not let this go down this road, but you had already posted once I submitted. I'll humour this though:
Really? Don't you think you're exaggerating a bit? I asked once to stay on topic and once this wasn't adhered to I offered to hand out infractions instead. If you feel I was overdoing the moderator thing, by all means drop Geo a PM and tell him that I'm swinging my **** around unnecessarily.I was about to point this out to you, but decided to rather just leave a visitor comment for you, seeing as you were flexing your moderator muscles like a crazed mofo in the thread.
I try to be as level-headed as possible when moderating, but like Miktar said about being an Admin (which I think it applies here too), it's a thankless position and the only time people notice you is when they think you've ****ed up.
PS. If you read recent threads over the last few months, you'd notice I have been advocating against WoW and have been the most outspoken one too.
But if you're the only moderator on the forum who swings his **** around at issues like this that occur on a daily basis, it stands out.
That goes without saying. The only reason I'm pushing the subject at all is because I love seeing moderators making mistakes and being all hypocritical and stuff. Like when they start wanting to hand out infractions for people going off-topic and agitating each other, then getting all off-topic and agitated because someone said he's a 40 year old virgin for playing WoW. ;)I try to be as level-headed as possible when moderating, but like Miktar said about being an Admin (which I think it applies here too), it's a thankless position and the only time people notice you is when they think you've ****ed up.
You just have to remember, when being in a position of power on a forum, you're always under scrutiny by at least one person. :P
Edit: Anyways, I'll stop here. I'm going way off topic again.

SINCE WE GET MORE MONEY IF YOU TRADE ITEMS WITH REAL MONEY YOU DONT GET TO HAVE OFFLINE MODE
" all the trading experience, and the core of Diablo is a circle-trading game."
I was reading up on Diablo 3 (developer interview). A person had that to say a bought Activision Blizzard always online requirement.
So I'm like like direct quoting from another site; what some forum dude had to say.
Which is true in a way. Always online does curb piracy to a certain degree, but its a business and Activision Blizzard while choose a business model that will make them the most money.
In other news Torchlight 2 will not have this feature, but will have LAN!!!!. Which I cant wieght to play at the next available OC.
I actually hope that they bring Diablo to consoles. I hate PC games these days with all this internet bullsh!t. If they weren't puch of gamers who thought they're Capt Jack Sparrow, then it wouldn't have been necassary and we would just worry about the game, not the connection line and phone line and cable and all that bull. Which is why I got a X-Box, to buy games and just play, not wait to install and wait for verification and updates and blah blah blah...
^isn't it ironic, that with their attempts to curb piracy, they're inducing it with all their internet restrictions and sign ups and crap...
Yeah but I think the majority of the people who have the problem with the online restrictions are the people who don't have a decent enough connection.
Nothing, however stops people like this from then buying a copy and getting a pirate version instead of just pirating
How much do you want to bet that you won't be able to play on a console without authenticating to the server first. There are not going to be separate platform servers as that just creates more hassles and you can almost garuntee to be lumped with the PC crowd. Also the RM Auction house will still be present. PC / Console, won't matter cause it will still have to be online
I hear people are swinging their dicks around...WOOP!!
Anyway, as much as I was looking forward to D3, I'm extremely put off by their authentication methods. Listened to their explanation of the auction house, and I understand their reasoning.
I might have a 4mb line, or whatever, but TIA and WHT (we have telkom). Stupid decision is stupid...on so many levels.
