Ooh, you've got an Earth Rod Chainsaw. How exactly does it work?

How else do you suggest they get there? They do jump. By day they walk around in the house and outside, easily jumping between the floors and moving around. Not that hard to believe.
That's not the earth rod. That's Vilethorn. I've found about four of them. Awesome weapon for fighting bosses and worm-like enemies like the bone serpent, as it makes a rod that penetrates enemies and continually damages them for a moment. It has low base damage but it stacks up nicely if you get a hit down the length of a bone serpent. :P
It is hard to believe because it doesn't happen. I had a nurse and guide move into a place I'd reserved for my workbench, anvil, etc. So naturally I removed the chair and whatever else made them consider those rooms a house. They started walking around, trying to get out, doing some ****ed up weird thing where they seemed to vibrate (they were just turning around VERY quickly) until I walked away, and whaddya know they were suddenly in the houses I'd made for them. So either they were just ****ing with me and being too shy to show their magical jumping skills while I was around, or they teleported. :P
Btw, don't you have an arms dealer yet? Or is that a different world to your main one?
EDIT: New screenie of the jungle :O
Birds, fish (seems fishing as well, he has fish in his inventory), and a different outfit. This is looking to be the most "alive" biome yet!

I hate the goblin army. I was so ****ed after it happened last time that I haven't really touched the game much again. :P Goblin sorcerors are even worse than goblin archers in Magicka. :P
Ok, so I built stairs to the islands in the sky, and what do I find, you guessed it, a Harpy. Damn they are annoying!New Enemy - Harpy
I spent a lot of time in the game yesterday. I built a massive hotel with many rooms, the nurse and the merchant finally moved in.
I found two Starfury's; now I know what mana is used for!
Iron ore seems to be the most difficult thing to find. If not for the WorldMap viewer, It would have taken forever to find an iron ore deposit.
With regards to the new update; which installed yesterday; will Jungles grow on my current world, or do I have to create a new world? I dont want to create a new world map :/
My current world now has bunnies and fish, which is cool! Has anyone seen a slime kill a fluffy bunny? Damn that is funny, and sad :p
Next step would be to go deep, kill some skeletons and get a hook, so I can make a grapling hook.
Just one Harpy? :P I usually get attacked by 5 or more...
You must just have bad luck with the iron ore, I seem to find it easily on my worlds.
And yeah, you'll have to make a new world. You could just make a new world and find some jungle grass seeds then plant those in your current one, I think that'd work.
And just btw, I prefer the official wiki.
I started a new world for all the extra content. I'm actually glad, because my structures are being built with a rough plan, instead of just mish mashes of rooms added wherever space was available.
I don't want to create a new world :( I have worked so hard building my hotel.I started a new world for all the extra content.
Bah!
http://wiki.terrariaonline.com/Jungle
There you go, I'm not that creative so I just have a spare world for when I want to go to the jungle. If you don't want to start a new world it is possible to grow your own Jungle Biome with Mud and Jungle Grass Seeds. The only downside to doing this is you'll have to make the landscape by hand and won't look nearly as original as it would making a new world

Seems he switched the link and the text. :P
So the link would be here.
Is it possible to make an underground spawn point the underground jungle... and if so how?
Played this game a ton. It's simply amazing! Took quite a while to really get into it though, and it doesn't help that I'm writing exams at the moment. I'm glad they're adding as much content as they are; I was getting bored after I got my full set of molten armour and tools.
Anyone got the Sunfury yet? IT'S AMAZING! 40 damage ftw :D
Although, possibly the most useful weapon in the end is the Phoenix Blaster. Slightly less damage than a molten bow, but the fire rate more than makes up for it.
My base, though, is decidedly terrible. A whole bunch of cobbled-together rooms that looks like it was designed by a blind architect.
Are we talking about changing your characters spawn point in the world?you have to make sure you did the walls properly though otherwise it won’t let you set the bed as a spawn point
