[Solved] [HELP] Steam/wow/SCII can't connect.

My internet is connected. My twitter, irc, browser all see and connect to the internet but none of my games can connect. My wow, SCII and steam can't connect, they all react as though there is no internet connection.

Any help would be appreciated.

PS: I'm on a 386 Telkom ADSL line.

Try using these dns settings:

Primary: 8.8.8.8
Secondary: 8.8.4.4

Is it possible you are capped and using local bandwidth?

No chance of being capped right now. I'm back home for a break from uni and it's my parents line. There's definitely still some cap left.

I know that the mweb uncapped package is so shaped that it's impossible to connect to steam. But it doesn't sound like you have uncapped.

You sure you corrected your proxy settings everywhere?

Automatically select DNS (if Chevron's idea doesn't work) and disable your firewall.

obtain Ip automatically.. I often forget to do it after a lan. and my Chrome works but nothing else on my pc does :/
