Things we need to know for rage 2011

LostEnigma, Y don’t u you leave everything in the car and then queue till u get your pass. once you have your official NAG lan pass surely u can enter and exit with no issues. You then carry your things in.... i don’t know that’s how i have always done it at other lans.

ItherNiT, if security does not have parking passes or atleast enough then i see your point :/

ItherNit - I think the ruling on the Parking is as follow, you get to rAge show the Guard your Nag Lan Ticket that you got from computicket and he will let you in. Simple yet it works

one problem i have with the straps or carry bags i have a case that ways in at almost 35KG and would not be comfortable carrying in a LAN bag or "strap" just now it decides to break and you have to chase your PC that is rolling down the stairs.

Ill advise maybe fabricating a trolley of some kind that can easily move around your stuffs

i have seen n little trolley at builders warehouse that fold up very nicely and is big enough for lekke big case that ways 35kg only prob is that it cost R350 ...

the que is a mission last time i managed to trolley till maze then a guy helped me out which was cool. But time before i came late so i just walked straight in. I think i wont go in the morning this time probably afternoon so will be a straight entrance for me.

I just rock a my case in my hands, a luggage bag over my shoulder with my screen either on top of my case or on top of my bag...

This is my first rAge lan and was wondering whether or not i have to climb/descend stairs to get to my desired spot. Of so, wont a trolley be more difficult to handle?

You can buy one of those straps, and then put your chassis in it and carry your screen in your hands, that's what I did. :).

Here is one from Prophecy http://www.prophecy.co.za/sunbeam-la...k-p-82970.html for what seems to be a reasonable R253.08. If theyhave stock of it next month then I will also get one.
