Dang it now I gotta make space for the DLC for Borderlands. Stupid little 40gb HDD.

It may only have 3.5% WUB WUB but I got a hankering for some Borderland-ankering? September is miles off.

I can't stop watching that trailer. Loved the first one, even replayed it with a buddy on the 360. Woohoo!

If they let you have a pet Skag that would be pretty awesome!

Despite all the similar style quests in the 1st game (kill this thing, find X of something, piece together the parts of Y Gun) it was a very fun experience, especially co-op, so I can't wait to see what they do in the sequel! :D

Lengthy look at some more gameplay. I loved the desert setting of the first one but the varied locations that I've seen so far has almost won me over. It almost reminds me of Unreal in a way.

Playing through Borderlands and the DLC co-op, on and off.

Finally got to secret Armory (Moxxi I can only do co-op and my friend and I both agree the rounds are too long for the next-to-no rewards), opened a fridge, got beat down by "Meat Popsicle".

It almost reminds me of Unreal in a way.
Maybe because Borderlands and Borderlands 2 used the Unreal 3 engine?

No, not the look of the engine. More the strange alien world.

I'd like some more features on gameplay to be honest. Don't get me wrong, that all looks very cool. BUT. Are we still going to do ****ty run-and-fetch quests over and over and again? Can we modify weapons? I liked assembling a special weapon from spare parts in borderlands - I didn't like that it was a specific weapon per quest, and that the weapon was already terrible once I got it.

    Moar info plz!

And for those that are seriously looking forward to this game and have some time to burn, read this:

Crazy Town: Gearbox on making Borderlands 2

For the people making Borderlands 2, "being true" means both adhering to what worked in the first game and remaining true to themselves, as artists. Each team member brings something new to the table, and just as with the slap-dash, 11th hour art redesign, the various additions and subtractions combine into a whole that is more pure than the sum of its parts. More interesting. More real. And hopefully more fun.

"It's supposed to make you smile," says Hellquist. "That's how I think it will touch people. I hope it will bring some joy to people. I think people are just going to smile a lot.

"There's nothing better than making people happy."
    I love reading Polygon articles.

    Some new footage from E3

The city level does bring a nice change of pace to the wide open wastelands of the previous game.
