It looks terrible, but I'm cautiously optimistic about this. It can't be worse than the first GR, can it?

Re: Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance
It looks like the bees' knees! Like that they're going for a darker look, and actually focusing on the actual Ghost Rider this time around.

Yes, from the directors of Crank. Which was fun, but not good enough for a comic book movie.

Flaming Skull = Check
Carnage and Mayhem = Check
Leave brain at the door = Check
That is what I can see in regards to this movie. Good, bad or ugly, I'll watch it and probably snicker a few times. I don't expect cinema nuveau in regards to any comic book adaptation and watch it for pure nostalgia.

Re: Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance
Just got home from the cinema.
This is a tricky one... I'm not judgmental when it comes to movies and therefore enjoy them for what they are. And I'm also know for being the "Mixed Emotions King", so this makes it even harder.
I can't make my mind up about this one. The effects were stunning, but the writing and acting of a few support actor were not so fresh.
Opinions?

Re: Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance
...I liked the first GR movie as a fun comic book to bigscreen adapt. but it never even made it into my DVD collection. The second one sadly is the same, entertaining but not mind blowing. Not sorry for seeing on big screen, but won't ever own it. If a thrid one is on the cards, I doubt I'll go and see it in cinema.
I rate movies in 2 levels.
Level One - Good reviews and trailers and its tickles my fancy - go see in cinema (3D if possible)
Level Two - Bad reviews and dodgy trailers, but it still seems like and entertaining 120min - wait for DVD release and rent it
If I truly enjoyed either of the above, only then will I ad it to my DVD collection.

I honestly thought it was one of the greatest wastes of license in recent years.
It was indeed terrible.
