Wow, that was bloody awesome! Yeah I got slaughtered all over the place but the feeling you get when you see that pink Shotgun coming or you know it's been quiet too long, Chippit is on his way, was tremendous. And there is no stopping Mikit's chainsaw, bloody hell.

But I've got a question: It was my first game and I'm not so clued up on the Rules of Engagement yet. If two people are engaged in a chainsaw duel, is it frowned upon to take one of them out from behind? Or is it All's fair in love and war?

It probably varies from person to person. I'm kind of **** at duels, so I have no problem if somebody interferes, but others might not be so happy about it.

Good question, I've never actually thought about it. I generally leave the duel to be resolved, then act accordingly.

Usually you know that if you jump in, it guarantees your teamie's survival. If you don't, they MIGHT lose it and then you can easily wipe up but you've lost a point.

In TDM with respawn points, that's precious. In KotH, who cares? So yeah, for me it's dependent on the mode we're playing.

I think everyone's first instinct though, is to hop in and interrupt.

Yes, we discussed this at length last night (I brought up the topic because Jason quizzed me about it last week) and I have to say: Screw Etiquette. If my teams victory is at stake, they can BILL ME, but I will turn a chain duelling opponent into a fine bloody mist without skipping a heartbeat or losing 1 minutes sleep.

KotH is EPIC. How many times did we snatch Victory from the jaws of defeat by breaking that circle with like, 3 seconds left, and hold it for victory? Twice, that I can clearly recall. High 5's all round... like, Just to Chippit and Nxtrms / Azimuth, cos 3 v 5's ARE fun!! :D

Indeed we did. In fact you, Azi AND Chippit all had a fair few of those simultaneous kills.

Chippit and I actually had some pretty epic one-on-ones last night (oh?), especially with him dodge-dancing around me as I awaited a slip-up. It was so ****ing awesome, even when my guts were splattered all over the nearest wall.

During one of those CTL games, I had to AFK because my brother needed to use the PC and it lagged me the **** out. So I stood there as leader, basically watching myself get pwned and not being able to do anything about it. >_<
