Yes I am also really interested to know which worlds everyone are playing on.
I am temped to ask my hubby to make a character for me but that might just be a disaster -nevermind completely useless since I am 800 km away from my pc.
Still I am counting down to zero hour myself, I can't believe I am so exited about an event I'll miss but this game has me feeling like a kid :)

It is not ideal but it is better than missing the beta altogether!
What I find really amazing is that my warrior/tank/bubba playing husband is having an absolute blast playing a Mesmer!

Played a bit more on my Necro, & also gave Ranger a try so far. Still a few stability issues, but i'm sure they will sort it out.

I played this weekends beta and i must say I really enjoy the 'New' Guild Wars (2). I played the Guild Wars 1 so I was really sceptical but I must say there was a lot of tweaks but ArenaNet / NCsoft did a good job overall.

My hubbby was very sceptical and I pretty much forced him to buy a copy of the game for himself as well. After this weekend's beta he is completely convinced that this game is awesome and he says it will be torture when the weekend event ends.

For myself I can already see that come launch I can wave my life goodbye :D

heheh I can understand the feeling would be sad if we get a character wipe for the next bwe. Got my engineer to about lvl 27. Been having a really successful time in WvWvW. Last night we controlled about 90% of the map :)

Hubby has been trying many classes and personal stories. So far he has played a warrior (20 min) a Mesmer, Guardian-until he had a weird bug where the instance was broken on his personal story, a Necro and a Thief.

I can't wait to try Mesmer and Elementalist. I must admit that Thief and Engineer also sounds like great fun.

If I play Thief of Engineer it will be the first time I don't play a caster (except for my arti in DnD online)


This game is incredible and needs to come out as soon as it can.

BTW my hubby had no issues what-so-ever, except for the one broken quest.

I Love the Elementalist, that will be my choice when going live!

Perhaps not as damaging as the others but love those aoe spells.

Guild Wars 2 needs to release already. :< This and Torchlight 2 are my most anticipated games in the coming months yet neither has a release date.

Kalahari ad in June's Nag has yesterday :)

There is an interesting post on Guru, where a guy has taken the average time from start of beta to release on all NCsoft & ANet games, plus snippets of info that ANet have "allegedly" said, 1 of which is "It won't be in September", & predicted a date of August 13th.

With a stress test next week, & then most likely a BWE in July, it's not unthinkable.

But in the end, we are all just grabbing at straws, cos we can't bear to wait. :)
