In the movie “The next 3 days”, Russell Crowes character makes a statement while he is teaching his class at college that has stuck in my mind for a long.
“What if we choose to exist purely in a reality of our own making? Does that render us insane? And if it does, isn’t that better than a life of despair?
Well does it?
What is reality?
Is every person perception of reality different or is reality a mass hallucination or a combination each individuals perception of it which is thrown together to create societies expected reality?
I found this definition and refer to the first definition
The state of things as they appear to be, rather than as one might wish them to be .This make me think is the way I see life not different to what you see it as , or the way the person next to you see’s life ?reality [rɪˈælɪtɪ]
n pl -ties
1. the state of things as they are or appear to be, rather than as one might wish them to be
2. something that is real
