I stumbled upon this little gem in one of Notch's twitter posts yesterday.

It is yet another "Block" based sandbox game. But this one goes a little further than the rest and adds Multi-Sized blocks, Triangle blocks and many many other kinds. This of course lets you build even more details works of art and in my opinion looks to be a really great game. I am super excited to see where he takes this and if he can get this to a final release I think this will overtake Minecraft in terms of "OMFG WTF Constructions".

I am going to quote myself here.

I have never understood the term "Diablo-Clone" when every Dungeon crawling RPG is referred to as one (Titans Quest, Torchlight, etc.) They are different games in the same genre, its like calling every FPS a "CoD Clone" or every strategy game a "C&C Clone". I see every block based game that is being created is referred to a "Minecraft Clone" also.

No its not Minecraft v2. Its another game in the same Genre as Minecraft.

I dunno. A big part of the lure of Minecraft is in how primitive and simplistic it is. If I want to design perfect-looking houses I might as well just get an architecture program.

Oh don't get me wrong, I love Minecrafts primitive and simplistic ways. No similar game will ever replace Minecraft for me. All I meant by the statement was that these things we see people build in minecraft such as the entire Hogwarts, a Deathstar, etc. will be overshadowed by the things you could construct in this game.
