You need a 2RCA to 3.5mm adapter!



You can find them in any audio/video store and I know that even Game and Makro sell them. They cost about R20.

Edit: That does mean that sound will only be in stereo, but since you're playing on a monitor this shouldn't be a problem since you'll be close enough anyway. I used my X-530's with my PS1 at one point and it worked out really well.

Take note that you'll have to plug your video (24" display) in the HDMI port of the PS3, and the audio will be played over the other A/V output. You'll need an A/V cable that ends in the red, white and yellow RCA's we older guys know so well. On your Logitechs you'll find an input with the white and red plugs being needed and when it's plugged in there you'll need to go to the PS3's options/setup/whatever and go to sound options. There you go to outputs and select the A/V as the output for the sound. Ta-da!

Maybe I'll need to get a 2 female and one male adapter, then use a female to female adapter or something like that to make it work.

man I remember struggling my ass off to get that very connector you are looking for at the moment and after what felt like the whole day I finally found one and it was awesome, except after a couple of months I somehow lost it and had to go through the painful process of looking for one again, I don't know where these magical shops are that some people claim stock them all the time but I sure as hell never find them :P

My PS3 is now hooked up to my brand spanking new 40" Samsung LED though, so no more worrying about that :D

Usually I end up here, after people have given up hope and post a link to a well-priced what-he's-looking-for-product of sorts, but this time I'm stumped. The cables are incredibly scarce, never knew! Glad I have one!
