Yeah, that's the way you're supposed to set up your gaming mouse. Set the DPI as high as possible and then fiddle with the speed setting until you're happy with the sensitivity. Even my old Stinger had independent DPI and Speed settings, so most modern mice should too.
I miss that mouse, if it was wireless, it would've been perfect in every way.
While we're on topic, I've seen Gigabyte have released some wireless mice with the same shape as the Stinger has (Cyber Snipa if you're wondering) but I'm scared I buy one and it's a dinky little notebook mouse and not a full-size desktop mouse. I can't go back to wired, it's just too cluttered and restrictive.
