    Check it out.

On my phone so can't post the link properly.

This technology could revolutionise computers and how we interact with computers and all electronics.

I can't wait to see if it takes off and becomes widely used. Anyone see if this could be held back?

That looks friggin' awesome! While I haven't really been a fan of the motion controls that have been released up to now, this seems to warrant some excitement. The resolution and responsiveness of this really looks like a game-changer. I have absolutely no clue how they're tracing that many points in space with that level of speed, it's miraculous. Its a LOT of data to handle at that frequency.

They could use this for cheap 3D scanning of built prototypes if the resolution is as high as it seems to be from the demos.

There are a few android phones that have been modded to work like this.
But the battery use is thru the roof.
Still awaiting those micro holographic projectors to complete my next project.

The Iron-Man lab would still need holograms, which we won't be seeing for a while.

This tech does look freaking awesome though. I wonder though, how are game companies going to take advantage of it?

Also, does it remind anyone else of this:
