Project 2: Playdead's successor to Limbo

Limbo's spiritual successor: Project Two

The new game from Playdead Studios tells the story of a boy's struggle against evil forces, reports Kotaku. The evil forces are said to be "trying to take over the world through questionable experiments on human bodies".The game features 2.5D platform gameplay, and will ditch the monochrome look in favour of a more colourful aesthetic, confirming earlier claims made by Playdead Studios.

The untitled game, tentatively called Project Two, will release on the PC, Mac, Xbox 360 and PS3. Project Two has previously been described as "more crazy than Limbo" by Playdead's Dino Patti. The game is being developed using the Unity 3D game engine, which is also compatible with iOS and Android devices. Playdead Studios has not set a release date for Project Two at this time, but development is expected to take at least three years.

Woohoo! Thoroughly enjoyed Limbo, so I'm looking forward to this. The art style looks fantastic. :P

FINALLY some details on this! I heard Activision bought the rights to Limbo 2, so let's see what the original guys can do with this! :D
