    They're good, but they fall into the grand strategy genre. Not everyone's cup of tea, I think.

    Agreed.

    I don't think you can put the TW games on the same plate as the games mentioned in OP. Its a completely different ballgame, but amazing games none the less. BladeMaster, you should give them a try as I see Civilisation is in your list. I would recommend Shogun 2 and Empire, my 2 favourites personally.

    ^ I've seen and played a couple of Total Wars. Duno, it's just not my thing.

    Guys, you know what I'm actually really looking for and cannot find? Battle for Middle Earth 1 & 2. Anyone know where I could get a hard copy in a physical store somewhere? I'm from Gauteng, BTW.

    A story about a Tyranid, a Space Marine and some Eldar. Its a chilling tale of rage and inspiration.

    Also we need some old classics like KKND. Now that was an awesome RTS

    More of a kinda inside joke - I'm rarely actually upset about it :P

    Goraan gets it, though.

    Regardless, SC series are great, though story in SC2 is... questionable.
