Is it just me or is this whole thing going really quickly? I know it's the dev boxes, obviously, because you'll want those guys tinkering with it ASAP, but damn. I like it. Shows they mean business.

Well, if you see the pledges they got compared to what they wanted... You can see how they're managing to get it done so quickly. Personally I can't wait for them to be reviewed. Wes, will you get your hands on one?
They're pretty cheap, are they not? Converge with NAG for a wicked review... I want to read it, as I want to invest in one sometime. Think it'll be awesome as a media streamer for home use!
For some daft reason I cannot explain, I have this serious urge to buy mine and call it GLaDOS. I just think it'll be incredibly fitting, for some reason unknown.
You think nobody will mod that thing to look like a companion cube? Hell, I'm pretty sure some lead designer made it cube-shaped with that reason in mind. Sneakily.
Well, the Steam console that was rumored a while ago was shaped in a companion cube style. It is excellent, I hope they push through with it!
Retailers have signed up to sell the OUYA in the US
LinkyYou may have heard of that little Android console, called the OUYA. We first heard about it a little over a year ago and it started out as a Kickstarter project. Running up its finance side very, very quickly, some more details were revealed once the Kickstarter project was finished, such as the console's use of Nvidia's Tegra 3, Android Ice Cream Sandwich and the very cool-looking custom dual-thumbstick controls. Developers have already begun to receive their shipments and the backers from the Kickstarter campaign will receive their launch units in early March. So where does that leave the retailers?

Apparently they are going to release a new model every year.
I don't know, that just feels like they're going to introduce a lot of fragmentation into an already risky venture.
