Doesn't seem like this has been mentioned, but why don't you just downgrade your contract? I have had the same problem, that's why as soon as my contract finishes I am switching to a pay as you go. I don't do enough phoning to justify getting hundreds of minutes from my contract. The only thing a contract was good for was getting a new phone every upgrade. But now that I am working I have realised its much much cheaper just to buy a phone cash if you don't do a lot of phoning.

My contract is already only a TopUp135 so I can go lower, and I can't want to switch to Pay as you Go, because I've got my contract through the old man's company, so I basically get it free.

I've looked at contracts from other providers, but our company uses Vodacom exclusively, so I can't switch unless I decide to take out my own contract.
