You do realise that article's almost a year old, right? And I'd assume Relic are too busy with Company of Heroes 2 to be working on this anyway. I'm definitely up for a new Dawn of War game, but I don't see this coming any time soon.

DoW3 is currently only being "discussed", while the vast majority of Relic's dev power is focusing on CoH2.

I'd think that one would wait until late this year, or even years end before they move off CoH2 and on to their following project, likely to be DoW3.

Considering the contents of the newly released 6th edition rulebook, the only thing I could think would be a high possibility to be new content would be fliers - hopefully in a "drive-by" manner as seen in CoH.

They better have the damn Tau and Necrons in this one, I didn't like DoW2 exclusively for that reason.

Necrons are a go with their new codex (and how! Their entire unit roster TRIPLED), not sure on Tau - their new codex is pretty much in the nebulous "next year sometime" area.

Relic will start moving devs over to their next project (assumingly DoW3) in the months leading up to CoH2's release, so it generally falls to when that happens. Too early, unlikely Tau will be incorporated.

It's always interesting to see Tau as one of the most popular races in the digital game, but relatively rare in the actual wargame :P

Necrons are actually a really attractive choice. Moving the antagonist role from chaos to Necrons (or even Dark Eldar) would be a nice shift - particularly considering the very nice aesthetic redesign they both went under for their new codices.

Too bad we know, we know its gonna be the good armoured dudes VS the naughty armoured dudes.
Nothing against Chaos or the Spacemarines, but I wouldn't mind something else.

Oh, and I do hope they do something like Dark Crusade's campaign again. Damn I enjoyed that!

I hope they move to something a bit nicer for the bad guys. I was tired of Chaos and the Orks after the first DoW game already.

Again, I would LOVE to see Dark Eldar and Necrons, considering how they were morphed since their update. Beyond the usual "simpler" motivations of Chaos and Orks.
