Hello. The startup pack doesnt provide the steam backup content. If you had bought it through BI Store (or gamersgate, or any other Digital Distribution other than steam) then you would not have to download anything if you use my startup pack.

Six Updater is the simplest way to do it yes.

Yes you can, I'm just not sure how tbh. I don't use the Steam version.

I'd suggest asking on arma.co.za forums. I know there are other guys using the Steam version in our group.
