Is this a bad idea?
Do you guys think this is is a bad? I was thinking of maybe hosting a minecraft LAN party but since there isn't any objective in minecraft I don't think that people would like the idea. Maybe I could host a few mc servers and each one would host a different map or game mode like: technic, survival pvp, creative, spleef, adventure map, novax and vecter city (a massive map with 2 cities), maybe the halo mod and any other multiplayer mods. Maybe it shouldn't be limited to minecraft?

Get a few people together to design a basic town infrastructure that people have to chip in to build. The biggest joy of minecraft is seeing things come together from many people working together to get something awesome done. I've seen replicas of ships, a Half-Life level and so much more epicness from that game, more from any modding tools in the last few years. I even know a friend who teaches architecture using the game to enforce rules and idea to his students for projects and practicals.

Re: Is this a bad idea?
Seems Cool , remember , the people that play minecraft like the game. Don't worry about the "no objective thing"! It's like eating pizza , and eating pizza with friends. BOTH are ALWAYS a good idea , the one is just with friends.
The forces of minecraft compel you! Doooo iiiiiiiit.
