Things to know for the NAG LAN @ rAge 2012

I was wondering about sleeping arrangements...
I saw that it would be fine for us to sleep under our chairs. A buddy and I each have a single bed blow up mattress, would it be alright for us to blow up the mattresses at my car and then bring them in to sleep on at night? We will obviously deflate them in the mornings when there is more human traffic.
This will be our first time going so I'm not sure as to what would be okay :)

That should be 100% okay as long as there is plenty of space around you for other people to walk around, nothing like someone accidentally kicking you in the face while you are sleeping.

Just a reminder to you guys, I'll be doing a little bit of the NAG LAN area tomorrow to look for unique rigs. Squeaky clean! Obviously, no-one has PMed me yet, so I expect you buggers to crawl out of the wetwork tomorrow.

The Steam client will be allowed access, but only certain ports for approved/tested games will be allowed.

Are you strict about the colour of the plug? You seem to put emphasis on the red plug with a flattened earth pin. I have a grey plug with a flattened earth pin.

So long as it has a flattened earth pin, it's alright. The LAN planning team just described them as having a red top because that's what the majority of them look like.

It's because they are supposed to be red. I think the specific red plugs comply to voltage and ampere ratings, and therefore the plugs' holes are usually also coloured red.
