Over a decade ago the miners here in Namibia for the Tsumeb copper mine striked as well. The unions demanded ridiculous fees, the workers downed tools and one of the gigantic copper smelting pots was left hanging with still half a batch of molten copper inside. The copper then cooled, expanded and ended up cracking the pot. The damage done by the strike was enough to shut down the mine for good, leaving everybody who was working there, without a job.

Looks like the same thing, round about, happening here.

    Miners "We want more money"
Mine "Ok, here is a somewhat of an increase"
Miners "No, we want a ridiculous amount more"
    Mine "Sorry, but no"
Miners "Then we will strike ... peacefully ... probably not"
Mine "Without a workforce, we'll have to make cut backs and people will lose their jobs"
Miners "We want more mon... Wait, what? No I have no job and no income? I has sad and it's everyone else's fault except my own"

    Malema "rofl"

After this nonsense, who would possibly invest in this country? :-(

Also, on what grounds do the Police have the authority to not allow Malema to address the crowd? I despise the man but its very important that he is treated lawfully.

He's being investigated by the Hawks on charges of intentional violent provocation or something alike, and therefore the police had the right to withhold him from the miners. It's like someone being investigated on charges of murder and his firearm is taken away for the duration of the investigation.

Also with regards to that bastard - how come people are still paying attention to him? He's NOTHING, yet he gets more publicity than the damn president. From my point of view he's throwing the president with fresh, steaming piles of crap and all JZ does is sit there and go "you cannot blame me for this". Idiot. Should've had JuJu arrested and brought up on charges of treason a long time ago.

I assume that's why they didn't allow him through.

That's the argument I use all the time with people, the more attention people pay towards him the more problems he causes. If everyone stopped talking about him and writing about him he would have to crawl back in his hole with the millions he has stolen and live alone. He feeds off publicity, and in South Africa he is like a fat kid in a free for all cake shop.

Also, this country has gone so far down the toilet all I can do is sit back and smile knowing my time left here is limited.
