I'm running a 10mb capped line. Everything else I run/play/download is incredibly fast with no hassles.

Ran the first adventure and Dungeon. The adventure was a little disappointing but it was a PUG so understandable, good news is the annoying GoGoGo'er was kicked within 5 mins by the group. The Dungeon on the other hand was spectacular premade with another guildy and a few same server guys. When they say the dungeons are difficult they aren't lieing but not frustratingly difficult 9/10 times you can see the mistake you made. But the mechanics are insane. Think like raid lvl. No tank and spank moments at all. You are constantly dodging something or someone and pulling a telegraph over a bad guy for more damage or trying to interrupt a boss so he doesn't use his full wipe power.

Really enjoyed it. If you have played wildstar and quit before getting to lvl 20 I suggest at least playing till you have played the first dungeon then making up your mind. I'm hooked

Don't let that lvl 15 adventure set the tone for you though Holsey. As I said to you before it is way too basic and thankfully you wont have to do it again as it is an Intro adventure. The only cool part of it is the beginning when you are jet packing to the ground :)

I do love the challenge of those dungeons though. Mini raids!

SO I got to level 50 and wow the game really opens up from there! Did the crimelords adventure 8 times over the weekend got gold more often than not and the drops were all wrong. Also did Malgrave and got gold on it. Also no drops.

So why are people so quiet about this game? I'm hearing very little discussion on it all over the net. It sounded like the next big thing and then suddenly it all just fizzled out.

The game was cool and the raids were even cooler, but constant DC issues, frame rate drops, bugs, pvp being completely broken, no end game but raids, high barriers to entry, carbine lag, loot issues, population problems and just the high level of difficulty has driven the vast majority of players away.

In my opinion the game was released too early it should of been held back another 6 to 12 months. Unfortunately for carbine it isn't 2003 anymore people expect mmo's to work from day 1 and are quick to jump back to what they know.

Seeing as this is going F2P soon, I decided to give it a go. Bought a key for R80 and just waiting for the hefty download to finish then I'll give it a proper go.

Well let us know how it goes. If it works I may be looking at getting back into it.

It seems fun, but I can't really play too much because the douche who sold me the key sold a US key as an EU key, so now I'm stuck waiting for him to sort it out. G2A keeps telling me I need to resolve it with the seller. Guess that's what I get for buying from G2A.

If I can't get an EU key I'll just initiate a cc chargeback and write the chargeback fee off as school fees.

Didn't you use G2A shield? It's like, R10 or some odd and it prevents this sort of ****.

Yeah, I always use G2A Shield, which is what irks me so much. I opened a ticket and they told me to resolve it with the seller, so I opened a did. The seller claims the keys are global (despite the official Wildstar page saying Humble keys are region restricted) and wants me to contact Wildstar support. So I updated my ticket to inform support of the situation and ask for a resolution. No response. So I opened a second ticket, detailing what had gone down and within 10 minutes I get a response saying to lodge a dispute with the seller. I respond saying I already have and that the seller does not acknowledge his fault. No response since 7AM this morning.

Considering how quickly they responded initially, I think they're just ignoring the tickets now. I'll hop on Live chat later today and see if I can resolve it.

I got Wildstar support to move my account to EU, so I played quite a bit yesterday.

I tried all of the classes except Warrior and Engin and my favorites ended up being Esper and Stalker. I settled on Stalker because I love stealth classes in MMOs. It looks like the game can be a lot of fun, but I've decided to drop it until it goes F2P. It's very much like WoW in that it requires a big time commitment and while it's sub-based I'm going to end up playing for the sake of getting value for my money, instead of because I want to.

I'll hang around GW2 and ESO for now and then come back once it goes F2P. Also, it's a bit of a ghost town at the moment. Hopefully that changes when it switches over.
