Official The Simpons Movie thread (may contain spoilers!)
So, have you seen it? If not, why not?
It was great, and Gldm and I enjoyed every minute of it. It's a long Simpons episode and naturally, Homer shines - but I found that Bart and Lisa actually enjoyed quite a lot of their own shine this time around.
I'm quite shocked at how many parents took tiny kids to go see the movie, and of course, all the little kids got bored because The Simpons really wasn't made for kids to begin with. :/
I hate how some parents are still stuck thinking cartoon=kids.
I also loved every minute of it and also plenty of tiny kids.

Uh, I didn't enjoy it. (And I enjoy the simpons episodes).
I just found that the movie alternated between trying to hard to be funny, where I felt the humour often fell a bit flat, and trying to tell a dramatic story, the moment with Marge leaving Homer comes to mind.
There were some very amusing bits in the movie that I enjoyed but I felt that they were too far apart...
Ha ha I loved it* I didn't think the humour fell flat at all, it was real true Simpson's fashion. The beginning was frikin HILARIOUS and mid-movie advertising from the FOX network had me in stitches.
Even the blackboard was classic "I will not illegally download this movie" haha. Would have loved to have seen more of Mr Burns though :D Excellent

It was the funniest movie ive seen, and its about time it came.
At the beginning when Scratchy exploded there were tears of laughter in my eyes, when Ralphy said: "I like boys now." I was busy choking! I went to see it twice and laughed the same amount every time.
By the way, ur all singing it wrong, its:

I agree with Acid Apple, "Can he swing from a web? No he can't cuz hes a pig." is definitely in there. Go checkout one of the previews on Youtube I'm sure it will be there.
I saw it last friday and thought it was absolutely brilliant often it's jsut small things that make you laugh like the "Eski-Moes" Bar and when the bomb was counting down then the dislay that said "This timer proudly sponsored by Rolex" or something like that. Surprised that the movie was only PG though, considering there was frontal nudity :P
The hedge with the strategic gap was utterly awesome. I was cracking up the whole movie, especially the bits where you quietly hear the spider pig song in the background...
Also, Banlam, your avatar is made entirely of 100% pure, uncut Win!

I loved the movie...I usually don't laugh out loud at the episodes, but in the movie I was, luaghing all the way outside until I realised I'd lost my wallet in the movie thearte....

Not to be a stickler, but P.S. stands for post script, meaning it should be P.P.S post post script not post script script.

i do happen to know this. But I've had people ask me what P.P.S means when I write them emails and such...so I use the retard friendly P.S.S
