No problems except for acquamark and coretemp not being supported under x64. But I think they don't work under xp x64 as well so it's not really a vista issue.

Yeah it won't run under vista x64 unless you disable driver signing by pressing f8 at the start so hence I have replaced it with speedfan which does work without having to disable driver signing. This has to do with coretemp refusing to pay the licensing fee for driver signing from MS. So it's not a vista problem it's a developer's issue.

Have you tried Everest? Works perfectly. The new version has sidebar support aswell?

    *edit*
Just saw you have a g15... Everest will display temps, fan speeds, etc... on the lcd.
    Everest Ultimate
Actually it'll pretty much tell you everything about your hardware.

    Wireless Router didn't work.
    Wireless Network Printer didn't work.
Best overclocking tools don't work on Vista.
    Crysis just ran bad.
    Antivirus required some downloads.
Halo 2 wouldn't uninstall, which is bad.

There were some other issues but I remember getting random BSOD.

I use Riva tuner(GFX) and bios(CPU) to overclock.
    Crysis ran perfect
    AVG :D
    Halo 2 No probs

    Not one BSOD (Touches wood)

    Like I said, I think I've been really lucky:p

Yeah, i used the compatibility pack too - worked great. All the other stuff i have solved last year already, but it was a shlep at first.

Alright, weird things going down now.

Getting a BSOD about Driver_not_less_or_equal, then it dumps the memory. This is a driver conflict somewhere right?

It happens randomly, and I can't finish my work...great.

Not going to install Vista because looking at this thread and what I know from other ppl, doesn't hold good for vista expierences. Funny thing is that XP is becoming harder and harder to find nowadays. New PC's all come with Vista and the shelves only have Vista. Looks like MS saw ppl are in general not happy with vista and are not going to buy it but rather stick to XP, so they limit the XP stocks. Corporate strategy or is it just me ?

    Corporate Strategy

XP will soon NOT be available, currently Microsoft no longer produces it, so as we go further ahead XP will become scarcer... So get XP while you can.. if you can...
