Gran Turismo 5: Prologue is almost there now, but Sony keeps releasing new and for the most part amazing looking screens just to keep us hyped. This one can't be released soon enough.

Great looking game, especially the vehicles, however I did notice that some of the enviroments don't look quite as good as the rest of the game (Pic number 3).

In light of that, I would buy the PS3 if I had the cash but theres only a few issues.
    1) The install time for that game will be quite long I expect.
    2) It's featuring Ferrari's and Aston Martins-How crap is that!?*
    3) It will hurt if the coding isn't perfected and the FPS sucks.

I love picture 3...and 1 and 2 and 4 and 11 and so on but I see what you mean. All in all tho-who notices the trees at 400Km/h

*yeah I'm obviously a Ferrari and Aston fan :-p but I probably won't get that game ever so I hate things right now.

As far as I know the game does have a 5.1 Gb installation, so I am assuming the load time will take quite a while. (Although since the game is downloadable as well I'm not quite sure if the number I saw refers to the download size or install size)

Good point about the 400Km/h thing, it was just minor nitpicking, the London track looks fantastic and the cars give new meaning to the term "Car Porn".

    Get a clue.

Anyway, I would also buy the PS3 for this game alone, if I had the money. It's probably the only time I would ever get to drive a GTB Fiorano.

I like that they're doing ****pits finally...you can't really claim to offer the most realistic racing experience in a game if you don't offer the most realistic seating position.
Hanging on to the roof or sitting on the bumper just doesn't do it for me...especially if you have a steering wheel controller.
Quite a daunting task actually to now create realistic and unique ****pits for each of the cars in their huge catalogue.

Amen, brother! Have been making this point over and over after picking up Prologue last week. Fully functional ****pits elevates this to another level. Forza 2 is awesome, but the absence of a ****pit view is such a let down. GT5-P from the ****pit with a steering wheel = best race sim on any console.
