Default Timelapse video of man trapped in an elevator for 41 hours

White has the security-camera videotape of his time in the McGraw-Hill elevator. He has watched it twice-it was recorded at forty times regular speed, which makes him look like a bug in a box. The most striking thing to him about the tape is that it includes split-screen footage from three other elevators, on which you can see men intermittently performing maintenance work. Apparently, they never wondered about the one he was in. (Eight McGraw-Hill security guards came and went while he was stranded there; nobody seems to have noticed him on the monitor.)

Heheh, that sucks. I would have tried to climb out through that little hatch in the ceiling (I saw it in a movie once).

Waiting for that amount of time...

He probably kept thinking that it couldn't take much longer.

But 41 hours? I would have climbed out LONG before then.

    Climb out where?

It was an express elevator, so if you open the doors you face a wall.

The escape hatch at the top can only be opened from the outside. It is designed for emergency personel to get in and not for passengers to get out.

The law specifies that the hatch must be bolted shut, or at least be locked with a slot to prevent people from using it.

This dude that was stuck is ****tard. After he was stuck for that time, he filed a lawsuit against the building owners and refused to go back to work. As a result he got a few bucks and losed his job.

He spent that money, so now he has not job, not money and no friends, all because he wanted to be a prick about being stuck in the elevator

I'd be a prick too if I had to spend 41 hours in an elevator.

Of course, you know all about what it's like to be stuck without food or water in a 1m square for over fourty hours.

Ah, I didn't watch the whole thing, was downloading quite slowly...

Must have been quite torturous to be stuck in that little tin can for so long... Hope he didn't have spicy food for lunch!

41 hours... close to two days... no psp; no cellphone, no food, no water, no company, no book, no nothing.

Guess its like spending 2 days in solitary at prison, only difference is, i think in prison you get something to drink.

Poor guy. That really must have sucked. Aside from boredom, the forced isolation sometimes brings out claustrophobia and psychosis. Not to mention physical discomfort and lack of food/drink.

    Eish, man. Eish.

a few times. he also read all the fine print on the tickets in his wallet, and then he took out 2 different $20 bills and compared all the differences.

After that he apprently got on the floor, used his shoes as pillows, and his wallet as an eye cover, and slept.

Maybe he was waiting for Hellgate to bring out a patch for LAN play and just thinking about it helped him pass the time :(

I have been stuck twice in the university elevators, first time was for about 45 minutes, the second for almost 2 hours. That really sucked so I can't even imagine for almost 2 days. Especially if there are a few students in there with you that think the thing is going to fall, sheer panic I tell you and not to mention hot. :/
