I think the time in between infractions must also count for something. I got an infraction the other day for a spam message, yet people know I'm not really a spammer.]
What's the time difference between your infractions?
It doesnt matter how many infractions you have DemoMan, its the points that you get for them that count. You get an autoban after you recieve so many points. I think the number is 10 but I wouldnt know what Miktar has set it to. Also, infractions expire as well which means that once their expiry date comes around, those points a nullified.Originally Posted by DemoMan
The system actually works quite well imo as the mods can give you warnings which look like infractions but actually carry no points or they can give you actual infractions that include points.
Recieve 1 infraction last week for misleading the public and spreading false information
and i recieved 2 infractions last night for the same thread from 2 different admins.

Where was I when this happened?
there was this article about 4 years ago, that stated cryengine 1 was aquired by ubisoft and is gonna be used for haze.
Obviously a lot changes in so many years. I was still under the impresion they are going to use that engine, and then i made the mistake to state what is obvious to me...
but after i got my infraction i was enlightened that they since changed engines and whatnot...
i cant prove i saw that article, as i dont have it anymore, probably get another infraction for saying there was an article ... there is hoping

I got an infraction cause of using my phone, i pressed send my mistake but immediately cancelled it. Then i continued to finish my msg! So it looked like i was spamming. I was just thinking last night how do they monitor who has given infractions to who! I wont even mention the infraction i got last night :/

If there arent any rules clearly specified then they can go around and give anyone infractions who they dont like for kak reasons like spamming etc, because of the obvious, there are no defined rules... so they can do as the please.
But hey, they are the admins... i guess its only fair that they can do as they please
Did you even bother to read my post earlier? The infractions do not mean a thing unless there are points attached to them!
I think his gripe is with the lack of rules regarding what will cause you to get an infraction.
Yes i did... but how do we know if points are attached or not?

All mine have points in them... Its very easy to say, hey that guy posted a load of ****, think ill give him an infraction. Though its not spamming as much. Admins or mods never use personal emotions to govern their decision makings do they... Bladdy
No dude... that wont ever give you an infraction because your viewpoint is different from theirs, or because they dont like you... i really doubt that.
And yes, all my infractions have points to them... just broke my new high score as well... wooot

What are Infractions?
If you spam, troll or break the rules you will receive Infractions per trespass. If you have three Infractions, you receive an automatic 7-day ban. Depending on the amount/type of Infractions, the ban may be turned into a Perma-Ban. In which case, we'll never see you again
