I think you're the one who doesn't know what Full Metal JACKET is.

I once saw Full Metal Jacket mentioned, somewhere. Didnt actualy know bout it till now tho. Anyone watch Gilgamesh? can get a bit long and boring in places but great ending.
a show I've recently started watching is Shakugan no Shana (thank you Otaku)
although, for only being on the 5th episode, it's already quite in depth in the story...
it ain't Ghost in the Shell (most confusing anime I've watched), but it's darn good, and I love it
Shakugan is nice, one of my favourites. It had just the right balance of all the elements for me, I actually enjoyed, and looked forward to, the 'non-story'-bits.
Well... I should have studied... But instead watched Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Ken`ich. Very good I must admit. A shame it was only 50 episodes long. I'll rank it... #5 on my list.
There is potential to continue... seriously!
The manga does continue :)
so they might at some point make more anime.
Strongest Disciple Kenichi is really cool, not that serious of a show, yet it remains gripping and very funny. IMO it's better than Tenjou Tenge. >_>
As if Animax showing Black Lagoon Season 2 IN JAPANESE was bad enough, they have Record of Lodess War in GERMAN!!
*cries*
Phew. At least it does continue. No way I'm going to wait for it to come out (as anim?). Volume 2 (chapter 144) here I come. Thanks One Manga ♥
EDIT: uh... I didn't know it's on One Manga because I'm not on the internet typing this post or visiting the site because I'm studying like a good little marti-I mean boy.
Just Finished Welcome to the NHK , started out great , got a bit irritating mid way though , i felt as if they ran out of ideas , luckily the conclusion wasnt too bad , overall not a bad story.
I've just begun watching Karas, and the series looks brilliant. It might just become my new favourite anime (after GITS of course).
Yes, I know!
You ready for this?
you get it from...THE INTERNET! (6_9)
Joke aside, I don't know. I use that outdated buy-the-DVDs method.
I felt the same, it started out nicely and got me really hooked, but then later on it just got boring and it felt like a mission to watch through it. But it ended okay, and it was still a great show, definitely something different. Won't put it up as one of my favourites though.Originally Posted by FF-Freak;

Yeah, I really loved both. Extremely funny series, loved how they quoted other famous anime's and manga's throughout, and it was interesting to see the lives of otakus over there. Plus it made me wish I lived in Japan more than ever. :P
