Okay, I think all those web-sites and Wikipedia exaggerated the supposed horror of Elfen Lied, it's far less graphic and has far less nudity then Gantz.

Granted, seeing people having their heads twisted off and then killed in creative ways is horrible, but it's not like you're seeing internal organs flying around (with the exception of a heart).

Also -how do you explain to your girlfriend, you're undressing another girl because her clothes were wet. -_-

Elfen Lied was pretty gruesome but yes there where definitely worse. The uncut version of Gantz for example. Now that was bad on so many levels.

What freaked me out most was the fact that Lucy, who is psychotic AND psychokinetic, could snap at any second, and snap HARD. Nobody was safe, not even children (okay, they weren't always innocent, but still) . Throw in all the child-rape, the shameless psychological and physical torture scenes, and the mental scars common to EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER, and you had one scary and depressing series.

Biologically there's nothing wrong with intercousin relationships either, it's just abit odd because they were talking about his sister all the time, I didn't think they were related also.

@Skink: Filler arcs have never and will never be better than the manga storyline. Name me a single anime where that's been the case, and I'll send the writers an expensive bottle of scotch. I'll also give you a cookie. Or rather, I'll make wir give you a cookie. :P
