The third-annual BlizzCon will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
Tickets for the two-day event will go on sale in the next few weeks for $100 per person.
?We?re looking forward to seeing even more of our players at this year?s BlizzCon and delivering another entertaining and informative event for them," said Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime in a statement.
Blizzard didn't offer up specifics on just how "informative" this event will be, but with the impending releases of StarCraft 2 and World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, there's a good chance fans will have something new to get excited about.
The studio said that it would have activities such as hands-on time with upcoming Blizzard releases, panel discussions with Blizzard developers, a silent auction and different contests.
