Well according to myth Achilles was a near immortal foe that had to be stopped by Apollo himself, and the fact that he has an entire epic poem dedicated to him (Illiad) makes him the winner in my eyes.
For clarity, was refering particularly to the characters in their respective movies
If Achilles didnt have that magical immortal myth thing(No idea) I'd vote Leonidas all the way.
Oh for truck's sakes! Achilles died from a an arrow shot to the heel by the pansiest person ever, Paris (Even his name is lame)! Leonidas ffor the win because not only was he uber 1337 and had David Wenham (A.K.A. Faramir) in his li'l army! It's also because he was portrayed by a Scot! And everyone knows Scots are bad-ass and totally cool.
Just ask my pal Scott, from Scotland. (Irony)
If Eddie Izzards Achilles were an option I'd go with that. You know, the guy with the block of cement over his foot.
