I am sure Azimuth could embarrass me here with a story involving a lot of vodka and tomatoes. But she wouldn't do that.

    There would be consequences.

I was 8 or something and was siiting at Steers eating when a car bomb exploded at the waterfront in Cape Town. I saw all these people running and decided I wanted to run away too. Luckily me dad got hold of my hair as soon as he saw me standing up.

Almost drove a quad bike into the main road when I was little and eventually hit the brakes at full speed thrusting me face first into the pavement and the quad just barely missed me by a few centimeters when it rolled past me.

Jumped into the deep end of our pool when I was like 3 or something.....I couldn't swim and wasn't as buoyant as I assumed, fortunately a few seconds later my dad came by.

Last year I dropped a bottle of bashews and it seemed as though no harm came to me but as I reached to start picking up the broken bottle a thin shard of glass shot out of my ankle and the next moment my hand was covered in blood and I got to watch blood literally squirting out I calmly called my parents for bandages and they didn't really respond till I put my foot down on the stair and a narrow stream of blood shot out and then they panicked except my lil' bro who I recall shouting "Ahh cool!!!". I kept pressure on the wound and by the time I actually got to see a doctor the bleeding had stopped, and my leg was extremely pale and very numb. I probably wouldn't have died but it was awesome.

Just hardly jumped out of the way of a car once.

Once we were sawing branches off a dead tree and I decided to take the cheap saw in my hand and use it like an axe, the blade came loose and went straight for my throat luckily I dodged it out of instinct, if it wasn't for that lucky dodge I would have sliced open my throat

can't think of anything else right now

When I was about 4 or 5, I ran full speed into a wire i didn't see. It hit me on my throat. I laid motionless on the ground, my dad thought I was dead, but I don't remember a second of this.

Was nearly run over quite a few times.

Almost fell over a massive flood gate.

Hmm, There are a few for me as well as I am sure just about everyone alive today has had one or two at the very least.

Real: When I was a youngin at 12 years old, I climbed to the top of a Pine Tree with a few friends. However, at the top, they thought it would be funny to push me out the tree. I feel something like 15 metres into one of those devil thorn bushes. Still got the scars today as a few of the thorns actually went through my one foot and a few deep into my back and arms.

Real: I used to be a Rescue Diver and the one dive I did during my training, a search and recovery, I went under along with a small group of divers, we found what we were looking for after about 45 minutes underwater and me and my dive buddy stayed back as a marker while the others surfaced to get the necessary gear. Well, they never returned and later the boat could be heard circling overhead continuously. We got the hint, and started to surface. Once We had, we saw the other divers were all already on the boat shouting at us to remain calm and stay still, we shouted why and they pointed behind us. We look and see, about 20 metres away two fins which the guys on the boat spotted on the fish finder as sharks over 6 metres in length. Well, to cut a long story short, We almost shat ourselves while swimming like the dogs of hell were chasing us. We literally flew into the boat. Fortunately, after we were all in, a poor unsuspecting seal got the sharks attention about 50 metres away and it was then we realized that they were great whites as the one jumped out of the water and landed on top of the seal, crushing it and attaining dinner.

Dream: I keep dreaming that I am being forced onto a guillotine like the ones they used in the French Revolution. I guess I must stop watching Hornblower :(

I forgot (don't ask) one: got knifed just in front of my ear.

Dreams: This isn't mine, but my sister once dreamed that she had died when a battle between teachers at her school and russian clowns ensued on our roof.

Real: I was on the roof, clearing the weeds off the antenna when it shocked me, launched me off the roof, into the tree and I fell about three meters in to the pool, unconcious. My dad was of course there and promptly saved my life.

When i was 2 years old i almost died from pneumonia and my parents were really poor at the time so i had to "basically" get better on my own!

Last year, after splashy fen, driving home we crashed our Tahoe into the barrier writting off the entire left side of the car (where i was sitting)! I dont know if it was the immeasurable amount of alcohol consumed the night before or how more focused the driver was on getting in on the chips action in the back than driving. But if the Barrier wasn't there we would of had a 7 meter drop onto cattle :/

Good fun was had by all :D

Real:Was 6,my brothers friend Accidentally made me fall,my head hit the floor, quickly my older brother got me to bed put a ice pack on my head and i passed out, quickly my brother phoned my parents,my parents took me to hospital. I woke up in a hospital bed,I could not remember a thing between when i fell and woke up.

Real:Was 13.I was walking with my friend to the mall and we usually have a short cut over the wall,we would clime over the wall to get over the wall instead of walking further to get to the entrance. My friend was standing on the top of the wall waiting for me. So just as went from the one branch to the other i slipped and fell but luckily i was holding on to the branch with both hands, my friend helped me up again then.

I've been a very lucky person (in real life). I've never experienced anything near fatal in my life (or so I was told).

But my dad experiences a near death experience every December. Be it:
    - Drowning
    - Sharks
    - Cement
    - Falling columns**
    - Illnesses
    - Bike crash
    - Train
    - Poisonous snakes
    - and a lot more. Every December/January holiday.

    EDIT: Actually, I remember this...

A friend of mine hit a cow on the way to splashy. The car was totaled, the cow walked away as if nothing happened.

It's a dangerous route to splashy fen.

    All are real:

    1. Almost drowned in my swimming pool when I was 5ish, I was running around and tripped in with my shoes and couldnt kick to swim up, luckily my cousin saw me and pulled me out.

2.I was at my friends house about 7 or 8 and we just finished swimming with my towel my friend pushed me in as a joke his mother was there so i was pulled to the rescue.

3.Not really death but could've been really bad don't remember my age but I was in maritius paddling canoes with my family and the current got to strong I started to drift out into see I only notice a while later and shouted my dad swam to save me.

4.At a school camp out at the school me and a friend set up a tent and when it neared night a tremendous storm came all these tents where blowing away me and my friend where going to go home so we tried to pack up our tent but the wind was too strong and the tent pulled us nearly into the air, we eventually just jumped onto to it to stop it from blowing away, then when my parents arrived we rushed to the car and lighting at that moment struck a street lamp and hundreds of sparks flew down over the car and me, we weren't injured and got home safetly.
