Yo peeps, rAge is around the corner. Gonna rock.
I dont know about other people, but the vuvuzelas really killed my mood sometimes. I'd like for them to be removed from the event somehow this year. Please please please.

Except for the oke shouting wiiiiiiiii over the pa system the vuvuzelas annoyed me the most. Down with them all!
Sorry to bother, but the plural form of "vuvuzela" is "vuvuzelas". There is no apostrophe. Misplaced apostrophes to me are like vuvuzelas at rAge are to you.
WTF is a vuvezela or whatever
EDIT: NM... i see its the same thing as a lepatata
Why the hell would anyone take those things to Rage?
Clearly you guys aren't football fans.. I agree vuvuzela's [YES, PURPOSEFUL APOSTROPHE!] are not really ideal for a LAN, but let's be honest, will the sound on your headphones be soft enough that you're hearing it? And perhaps if guys weren't so damn tired from lack of sleep, it wouldn't be as irritating..
I don't have a problem with them.. But then, I'm a football fan, and I have one anyway.. :)
I think they ( using "they" here, because I couldn't be bothered with the whole figuring out the apostrophe thing) are alright for soccer purposes and a few others but IMO just don't have their place at rAge....or only to a limited extent.
Imo the solution is to take a small hacksaw with and get hold of the thing and...
I luckely didn't hear any, but so help me, if someone wakes me they will get a biff up the hooter. And from my past experience it's always some tiny grade 8 idiot that thinks he's funny. If I find him, I'll sit on him. :/
Sorry, I don't normally venture onto this part of the forums (especially since I won't be at rAge this year anyways)
But I do have to say something about this post.
You are assuming that only people in the LAN area will be subjected to the sound of the vuvuzela's - I have never been to the LAN, but I have been at the show all weekend (its called hanging out with the cool kids at Game.Dev :D ) and I can say that those ****ing plastic things are bloody annoying.
And I swear, likely if I see one of those jackasses using one of them I will hit them.
If I'm not mistaken, they were handed out at one of the expo stands - else if I am mistaken, I'm assuming some random dude was selling 'em at the street corner. >.<
Honestly, I didn't use my headphones the entire weekend - they just sat by my PC. :P
The Game.Dev stand crew will receive special training in vuvuzela isolation, extraction and destruction techniques. If one of the exhibitors starts handing them out again, we'll deal with them too...
I hate vuvuzelas.
