That is a crap thing about rAge. However pubbies are usually crap anyway - clannies are where the real fun is at.

I just hope that there will be some very good teams present. Its not fun at all to do well in a 'big' tourney where the really powerful teams decide not to come.

I have always tried to have prizes up 5th even 6th spot to make sure that the less experienced guys stay in there instead of quitting early in the rounds.

This year I am even having a different tournament so that the more the tournament progresses the more likely it is that you will play a person of similar skill.

For the open LAN, really hope peeps let us finish a full game... and no "-em" plz, we've got 53 hours of DotA so there's no need to finish quick! :P

From what I heard, there will be quite a few awesome teams partaking, but I see they still haven't registered for Mayhem - unless they planning to qualy online.

Sounds awesome, the worse is having a double-elim and than getting knocked off early cause of bad luck - playing two great teams uber early on (happened to clan "80s" at BattleLAN).

Can't wait for the weekend... in order to get some serious training in, cause with work and late-night lectures it's already 10pm-11pm after a single DotA game. Tried playing til 2am once, than woke up half-dead the next morning and had a headache the entire day. :/

That was used for the DotA tourney, and was hosted by TheLair. It made sure that only peeps who are supposed to be in the game, are - just try and imagine hosting a tourney game in the open LAN lobby, your foot will be aching from all that kicking. :P
