i'm upgrading soon, but to afford this upgrade i need to sell the parts im upgrading on, so here goes:

Item: Packard Bell mini tower case ATX/uATX
Details: My current case. has a grille for a 120mm fan on the side. rather small, but very light. perfect for a LAN or office rig. has 2 front USB 2.0 ports, headphone and line in jacks, and a 12-in-1 card reader on the front panel. not visible due to the sliding cover being closed on the pics.
Price: R300
Condition: Very good, No marks or scratches. photo in the "post you work/play space" thread

Item: Force3D HD 4670 512MB
Details: The slayer of giants. this GFX card kicks ass, as any benchmark will tell you. it puts my buddies 8600GT to shame for the same price. plays crysis, 1280x1024, dx9, everything on high except shadows on medium smoothly. only games i can't max out at 1680x1050 with AA are farcry2 and crysis basically. and it requires no additional power other than from the PCI-ex slot. perfect for the gamer on a budget!
Price: R550
Condition: Very good, as new.
Age: 6 months. bought from prophecy in december




Item: Generic 300W PSU
Details: I'm not sure exactly what make it is, but i know it's a 300W, and it has powered my rig without a single hiccup for the last 8 months, including weekend LANs.
Price: R200
Condition: As new, never removed from the above case i bought it in.
Age: 8 Months


Item: Generic 2x1GB DDRII-533 MHz RAM
Details: Still works perfectly. i upgraded to ddr2-800, but i really didn't see a noticeable improvement in performance, and i have the RAM hog vista. so it doesnt perform badly at all.
Price: R200
Condition: Very good, as new.
Age: 8 Months

I live in JHB, and collection would suit me perfectly, but if need be i'll ship it to whomever wants it, but at their cost.

so that's it. i do want to try and sell all the parts relatively soon, so if you want to take them all, i'll give it to you for R1100 (R1250 seperately). think about it, if you buy a mobo and a cpu, you can upgrade from an old rig, keep your screen and harddrives if need be, play the newest games on quality settings, all for under R2500. All of the items still work perfectly, and i'm not trying to screw someone over by trying to sell them dodgy crap.

alternatively, if you happen to have a HD4870, GTX260 216SP, coolermaster CM690, raidmax aztec or smilodon extreme black you feel you need to get rid of and it's in a good condition, let me know!

Buddy, the GTX is vastly more expensive than a midrange card from 2006.

Even the R500 won't help.

Maybe try phoning your local branch and checking if they have a preplayed copy (BT does not put all their preplayed items on their site), should be about R180.00.
