I actually like the idea of running with the AMD-it's great if you overclock it which we can help you with but I would go with the 6000+ personally.

At the moment the 6000+ is 125w and the 5600+ 90W.

    I know since the 6400+ got released there's supposed to be a 90W 6000+.

Wow, thanks guys for the replies... you are really helping me out! Btw, whoever moved this thread, thanks aswell... sorry for the inconvinience.

Ok, you all have great ideas. My parents have given me a final budget price, so this should help us :)

    R5,300.00 MAX (incl. Vat)!
This should include the CPU, Motherboard, RAM, PSU & Case(cheapest one you can show me, but with good airflow design and stable lol - dont want it falling apart at LANs). If the total price does exceed this, I will be paying for it out my own pocket ;) So dont go too far over it

I will buy a cheap keyboard, and I already have a LCD, mouse & speakers.

@Chevron: The OCZ nVidia SLi Ready Edition looks really fantastic for that price and those timings... But will it work on either the GIGABYTE S Series M57SLI-S4 or Gigabyte GA-P35-S3? If so, then thats one more thing im certain about...! yay

Ok guys, sorry for this, but bare with me please :D
    Im 100% decided on the:
    CPU - E6750

    Not decided on the:
Mobo[Remember , RAM, PSU, Case :o (But I have rough ideas)

My Dad says R2,900 is fine for a graphics card, but If i get a 8800GTS 320, I won't be able to upgrade for at least 2/3years... do you think it is worth it? I would love to run Crysis smoothly :)

    REGARDS!

That is card DX10 card. And unlike the puny 8600 or 8500 DX10. This card has plenty grunt and will actually be able to power DX10 games when you finally make the jump to vista.

    :)

    I love mine.

If you want a good case take the Raidmax Smilodon.

    :)

    I love mine.

8800GTS is a great little beast.
Its a pity you can't buy from dealers sneak-That makes a budget go waaaaaaay further.
I think you may consider a slower CPU tho as it till demolish your budget for other items.
remember Core 2 duos overclock to 3.0ghz easily~and that includes my E6300.

    Default whoopwhoop

My friend is a dealer through rectron, so most of my stuff will come from there xD
Otherwise, I'm going to order over the internet... at places such as prophecy, computersonly.co.za, etc.

    Regards

    P.S 8800GTS 320 IT IS! :)

Nice one buuuuut-see if your mate can't get from Axis. There are much better cards for les money then rectron.
Something like a gainward 8800GTS is R2500 which i would think is 10% cheaper then rectron.
Rectron know that there are alot of people who have the ability to buy from them and those people can't go elsewhere (well apart from retail) so they are slightly more expensive.
    Their LogitechG15 KB is a rip off-Its R700 but from frontosa it's R485.

    Ok thanks..

Question: will the OCZ nVidia SLi Ready Edition RAM looks work on either the GIGABYTE S Series M57SLI-S4 or Gigabyte GA-P35-S3? If so, then thats one more thing im certain about...! Otherwise, I'm going for the kingston HyperX

Let me know asap, deadline rearing in
    Thanks!

Dont know-google it. I know that 1200mhz SLi RAM works with the 680i chipset based motherboards

Here is the Auzentech Prelude 7.1.

It uses creative's X-fi technology and adds in some extra features. Also they write their own drivers and don't use creative's drivers.
