Why not servers for Battle For The Middle Earth and other strategy games

Not even sure whether I should, but here goes. Most strategy games are peer to peer and therefore does not have dedicated servers. Beyond that we cannot cater for every game that has attracted some interest.

There will be no servers but there will be plenty competitions, some official ones are Supreme Commander and Battle for Middle Earth 2, any other strategy game you can just go into the network lobby of that game and see if there are other players with that game.

Sorry, but this might be a bit off topic... but will there game retailers there... The reason I ask is that I am still pretty new to lanning... and not too sure what the games are like... I just want to know that if I see a game there that I like, will I be able to buy it? Or do I have take the plunge and buy 'em all before Rage??

personally, i'd buy em before so you can get some practice in on all the games you wanna lan, but yes there will be plenty retailers at the expo.

Sure you can copy them or you can download them:) Either way you still have to purchase the game. This works for all the steam games so far I know.

I bought Crysis Warhead on Saturday, and i have to say, it is just brilliant. I got a second disc called Crysis Wars, which has 21 maps for great multiplayer. It's one of the most fun i have had playing an fps at a LAN. I really hope it will be big at rAge this year...
