Was chatting about this in IRC just now, and thought it might be worth enlightening those who don't know about it.

Interested in learning a new programming language, anyone? It's based on C syntax, at least.

That looks really funny. I want to try that out for fun. It looks good for people that know little or nothing about programming. I cant help but say "LOL"
That's all it is, Funny. A lot of langauges are a lot easier and a lot better.
The equivalent of the code Miktar showed in Python is:
A funny langauge but one that serves no purpose, even less so than Brain****.(which atleast has the smallest, or atleast close to it, compiler)Code:print "hai World!"
@ ShadowMaster
You always such a wet blanket?
No **** it serves no purpose - figure that out all by yourself, did you?
OMW...
Have none of you (ShadowMaster, Harrow) ever heard of joke programming languages? Google Whitespace or brain****. The whole point is to inject a little hilarity back into coding, not to worry about efficiency...
-D
Or the 1337 programming language, with which people have created some rather amusing results as well.
@shadowmaster. dude chill. This is off topic discussions, mostly light and not serious stuff. I know that there are far better languages for beginners but if you're a teen and have never been exposed to programming, I think you would relate to lolcode better, and once you're familiar with the basic methods of programming-you can move to something more sophisticated. -TU1
@harrow. Have you never heard of "all work and no play"?
@untouchable
"All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy"
But the play comes after the work. Its like making a game and then playing it
And by "play comes after work" we are, of course, looking at learning something like Whitespace or, heaven forbid, LOLcode after we've learned some of the more "serious" languages. It's a great way to inject some vitality into all those declarations, classes and methods.
Dislekcia is an experienced programmer, he knows what coding is for. And after you've trawled through years of C++ (amongst a menagerie of other languages), it's really pretty cool to try something like LOLcode just to ... well, lol.
Let's try not take ourselves too seriously. After all, I didn't start coding because I found it to be mercilessly boring. And I doubt anybody else did, either.
Let's not lie, LOLcode is super-duper-****ing-serious anyways. Microsoft recently made a presentation focusing around the proposal to replace C# support with that of LOLcode. I feel that this is a wise manoeuver, as LOLcode is quite clearly the far better of the two languages.

Finally, the IT giants are putting something valuable into the community. LOLcode should become an industry standard within the next two years.
